Privacy policy

Last updated October 19, 2026. This policy covers nerdla.com. Our products have their own policies — see Invoiceur’s privacy policy.

Who we are

Nerdla, Inc. (“Nerdla”, “we”) operates nerdla.com. Questions about this policy or your information: hello@nerdla.com.

What we collect

When you submit a project or Mai-AI inquiry, we collect the details you enter: your name, work email, company, website, and information about your project, systems, budget range and timeline. We also record when you gave consent and, if you choose, whether you’d like to receive occasional articles and product news.

Campaign source. If you arrived from a link with campaign parameters (such as utm_source), we store those with your inquiry, together with the referring site’s domain, the first page you visited during that visit, the page you sent the inquiry from and the last “Start a Project”-style button you used, so we know which channels and content are useful. This is kept in your browser only for the current visit (session storage) until you submit.

Usage measurement. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or track you across sites. We also count a small set of interactions (for example, “Start a Project clicked” or “form submitted”) as anonymous daily totals. These counts never include your name, email or anything you type into a form.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find Nerdla (search, referrals and campaigns) and which pages and articles are useful. It records the pages you view, the site that referred you, campaign parameters in the link you followed, general device and approximate location information, and a few interactions such as “consultation button clicked”, “project form started” or “inquiry sent”.

  • Only with your permission. Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are set only if you choose “Allow analytics”. Until then, and if you decline, Google receives cookieless signals without an identifier, which it uses only for aggregate modeling.
  • No advertising. Advertising storage, ad personalization and Google signals are switched off. We don’t use Google Analytics for remarketing.
  • Never your form contents. Your name, email, company, project description, budget and inquiry reference are never sent to Google Analytics. Only the form type and the service category you selected are.
  • Confirmed consultations. If you allowed analytics when you sent an inquiry, we keep the random Google Analytics identifier from your browser with it (for up to 90 days) so that we can tell Google Analytics, without any personal details, when a consultation is booked.
  • Change your mind at any time with “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page. Google Analytics isn’t used on our internal pages.

Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile processes technical signals about your browser and connection; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We use a one-way hash of your IP address for a short time to limit repeated submissions, and we don’t store the IP address itself.

How we use it

  • To read and respond to your inquiry and, if you choose, to schedule a consultation.
  • To prioritize inquiries internally using the information you provided (for example, project type and timeline).
  • To send articles or product news only if you separately opted in. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to anything.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers.

Where it’s stored and who processes it

  • Cloudflare hosts this website and stores inquiries in a database that only our application and authorized Nerdla staff can access.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) processes the website usage information described above, with data retention set in our Google Analytics account.
  • Google Workspace receives a copy of each inquiry in a private spreadsheet and sends our notification and acknowledgment emails. If you book a consultation, Google Calendar handles the booking and Google Meet hosts the call.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for up to 24 months after submission, then delete them automatically from our database, unless we’re working together and need them for that engagement. Copies in our Google Workspace account are reviewed and deleted on the same schedule.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you submitted, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@nerdla.com from the address you used. Including your inquiry reference (for example, NRD-261016-ABC123) helps us find it quickly. We’ll respond within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Security

Submissions are sent over HTTPS, validated on our server, and stored with access limited to the people who need it. Notification emails are sent from our own Google Workspace account. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect what you share. Read more about our approach on our security page.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
